Good news

Here at Deerfield Addison Books, we’re thrilled by the early success of Transition: The Triathlon Thriller. It’s way too soon to make predictions, but preliminary results are making us smile.

And at this point in the pandemic, any good news is more than welcome. 🙂

It’s T-Day!

It’s an exciting day here at the international headquarters of Deerfield Addison Books because Transition: The Triathlon Thriller is finally here!

If you’re the kind of person who demands instant gratification, you can buy Transition as an eBook and start reading it just a few moments later.

But if you’re old-school (like most of us here at Deerfield Addison) and you like the feeling of physically holding a book in your hands, you can buy Transition as a paperback — but Amazon is understandably a little slow right now, so you might have to wait a week or so for your book to show up.

If you get tired of waiting, you can check in on (and interact with) some of the characters in Transition as they get ready for the action in the book. You can find the authorized list of available characters at www.DeerfieldAddison.com/Transition.

Proof is on the way

An “author’s proof,” that is. Which means that we’ve uploaded the final version of Transition to Amazon — they’ll print up a draft copy and make it available for us to order this afternoon, and we’ll have it in our eager little hands in a few days. If it looks good, we’ll tell Amazon that it’s ready for sale. And then the rest is up to you. 😀

It’s almost here!

Transition: The Triathlon Thriller is nearly ready to launch!

That’s right, Deerfield Addison’s first book should hit the shelves by the end of the month. Transition has been carefully edited and thoughtfully formatted, the cover is nearly complete, the website is showing signs of life, and the social-media components are starting to feel like they’re under control. (Almost.)

The glass-is-half-empty people on the Deerfield Addison staff are afraid that the coronavirus scare will leave potential readers too anxious to read thrillers. But the glass-is-half-full people figure that a third of the population is about to be self-quarantined, and when they get tired of binge-watching Better Call Saul they’ll be motivated to sign on to Amazon and order a copy of Transition.
